It will show you how to achieve and maintain an ideal and healthy body size by providing a lexicon according to which any weight-loss system can be explained.”

The authors, Dr.Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz believe that to change your body, you need to know your body.

Knowing your body: Take the test first!

Before starting the test, you can test a questionnaire listed in Realage.com (powered by DrRoizen and Dr Oz) for free. It is a comprehensive quiestionnaire including following information:

  • Cholesterol level;
  • Blood pressure reading;
  • Nutrition;
  • allergies, if any;
  • etc etc..

The result tells you the biological age of your body, based on how well you maintain it. You will also get a personalized plan to feel younger, list of what makes you feel younger or older.

YOU on a diet Basics
Here are some tips from You on a Diet:

  1. If you cut just 100 calories per day, you can lose 1 pound per month.
  2. Avoid hydrogenated oil, sugar, enriched floor and white foods.
  3. The only items you need in fridges are egg whites, cauliflower and fish.
  4. Only buy foods that are less than 4g of saturated fat and 4g of sugar per serving.
  5. A glass of water, good night sleep or sex may satisfy your craving center.
  6. Apples, carrots and nuts are awesome snacks to consider.
  7. Doing 60 minutes of high density cardio every week.
  8. Perform 30 minutes of weight training every day.

While most of these tips are common sense, many swear that they have succesfully lose weight with YOU on a diet principles. Will you lose weight with it? Most likely if you stick to it consistently.
