I want to make a comment regarding the so-called “response” from Acai Berry above. You make it sound EASY to cancel. The first time I called, after waiting 32 minutes, on hold, your customer service rep told me, “Ma’am you are calling 2 days after you placed your order. You have to wait 14 days, so call back 11/2/08, I cannot cancel your order. You haven’t even received the pills!” I further stated I wanted to cancel. Your rep said, “We will send you two free bottles for not cancelling” I said, “please cancel this order.” She replied with, “OK, hold for your cancellation confirmation number!” Well, I held, but she didn’t, all I received was a dial tone! Six hours later, I was finally able to get through and spoke to someone who actually cancelled the order. However, on 11/3/08, while placing my trial order on 10/18/08, I received the trial order. So explain this! I ordered this 10/18/08, cancelled on 10/20/08, and received your trial size “FREE” order on 11/3/08. So how is it that we are able to actually try the free trial size offer and decide if we want to continue with your product? We don’t even receive the sample before you start charging our credit cards, and sending future orders. So, this IS a scam! You make it hard to cancel and you do NOT give your customers time to sample before you start shipping AGAINST your customers’ wills????? You need to let customers decide if they want your product, which is clearly NOT what you are doing. Your statements posted above are not true and I know this from personal experience.
On Facebook I read about Oprahs Acai Berry Diet weight. I ordered sample which should be 1 moth supply. I received 15 Acai Berry tablets, suggesting you take 2 tablets 1/2 hour before a meal; i.e. 7 day supply not 1 month. I believe it is just a vitamin C I don’t think it does anything for you. I canceled immediately, however within days I received next bottle and charged $90, and again another charge for $8.51. I called the 2 last tel. numbers, all the same company, they promised refund. I will follow up and let you know if they will refund money. (order to Canada takes longer than within US)

I too have been scammed. I’m old enough to know better, but fell into the same trap as everyone else that have written with the same story. You call the number theynow tell you if you want to cancel, don’t leave a message, go to cancel@acaiberry.com. That doesn’t work either. The number below no one even answers. BEWARE – $722.14 has frauduantly been charged to my account and I have received NO product. Read on……….
This company told me my first order “trial” order the credit care did not go through and I didn’t think anything about it. I just thought the order didn’t go through and I would just get the product or simalar at the drug store – WELL – now they have charged my debit care 3 times, the first amount 11/7/08 for $5.95 for the trial order. Then 11/19/08 for $533.00, next 11/24/08 for $88.62 a pending amount right now for $94.57 a total of $722.14 and I have never received any products and certainly didn’t approve or order anything for $533.00.
I cancelled my debit card and the bank has temporarilly put the funds back in my checking account.
BEWARE
THIS IS HOW I HOPEFULLY TOOK CARE OF THIS::: I got caught up in the Acai Berry – Colon Cleanse scam as well. I had three $83.00 charges on my credit card before I realized what was happening. The following is what I did and so far it is has been successful. I started with contacting the Better Business Bureau in Florida for FWM Laboratories. Then I contacted my credit card company and submitted fraud alerts for the three charges. I also had my credit card company issue me a new number (as if I had lost my credit card) I then called the numbers listed on my credit card statement for each company (2 charges were same company and one charge was the other company) and was able to get through to a person on each of the two numbers and received a cancellation number on the one (from a very foreign sounding person) and was told I would receive an email confirmation on the other one. Never received it – ended up calling back and getting an email address. I emailed the company to confirm my cancellation and to get a return address to return the product. After getting a lecture by email on how I had agreed to the auto delivery program they told me they would reimburse me half of the 80 something charge and I could keep the product. (Yeah like I would ever take any of those pills now!!!). To date, my credit card company had deducted the three charges. However, I am still going to check my credit card online daily just in case. i tryed the acai berry pure with the advanced cleanse as they recomended. i followed the instructions exactly, after about a week i stepped on the scale expecting to have lost atleast a few pounds and i was surprised that i was still at the same weight as when i had started. still i decided to give it some more time. it has now been over a month since i first started and i haven’t lost any weight at all what so ever. Acai berry pure is nothing but a pure scam.
