Dr Oz Green Drink Recipe – Hype or not?

 In Oprah’s show, Dr Oz showed us how to “Go back in time” with Green Drink and Cod Liver Oil. Dr. Oz said he takes the green drink most mornings. So you wanna look youthful? We present to you, Dr. Oz Green Drink recipe (fresh fruits and veggies only):

  • 2 apples, cored;
  • 2 big handful of spinach;
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley;
  • 1 celery stick;
  • 1 lemon with peel intact;
  • 1 medium cucumber;
  • 1 thumb length of ginger root, peeled;

Alternatively, you can add the following (optional);

  • raw carrot;
  • unsweetened fruit juice;
  • banana;

Steps: Place ingredients and ice cube in a blender, puree quickly.

It has strong (unpleasant!) taste which you may not like. It takes some time to get used to. For starter, you may add other ingredients (apples) to sweeten the drinks.

Hi Dr.Oz I am from Toronto Ontario Canada and I try to watch your show as much as I can. I have had so many problems with my health that right now I will try anything. I love to juice so this should be good.
