Let’s be honest: workout is hard and boring! I bet you lack the time and commitment pumping away in gym everyday! Now, what if I tell you there’s an easy way to “increase calorie burn and tighten abs”.
All you have to is wrap a special belt around your waist. Overtime, you will have the flat tummy you have been dreaming for! Best of all, the cool belt is endorsed by fitness “guru” and celebrities!
I am sure you are familiar with these statements. Specifically, the above lines are advertising claims of Belly Burner Belt. There are a lot of competing products available in the market with different names, e.g. sauna belts, thermal belt, slimming wrap, abs toning belt etc. These products are all the same: they make no scientific claims! And, Belly Burner Belt is not the exception. Let me explain…
Belly Burner belt is designed based on the concept of “spot reduction”. The concept is that by exercising the target area, you can eliminate the fat off the area. However, the theory is misleading. The abdominal fat is part of your entire body fat. Keep in mind that there’s no specific diet plan or exercise program that can target the specific body area. The only way to flatten the tummy is to reduce overall body fat.
Here’s another claim: Belly Burner Belt claim can “turn up the heat” to sculpt your midsection. It may increase the surface temperature and boost the metabolism slightly. However, the belt won’t melt away the fat. Some people may observe slight weight loss by wearing the belt, but it’s mostly due to excessive sweating.
Ok, I know that the product is advertised in TV. It’s also endorsed by celebrities. Regardless, these should not be indications for credibility and effectiveness of Belly Burner Belt! Let’s not forget that Belly Burner Belt doesn’t have any clinical evidence to back up the claims.
When I first saw the advertisement for Belly Burner Belt, I am terribly surprised. In the past, the FTC (Federal Trade Commissions) has charged few top selling abdominal belts for making false claims. The buyers should be wiser by now. Still, people are always looking for short cuts to weight loss, which don’t exist.
In closing, I do not believe that Belly Burner Belt can help you to achieve six pack abs as advertised. Sorry to disappoint you, but it’s not an ideal substitute for sensible diet and regular workout routine.
